Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny on February 3, 1950) is an American actor from the United States. The actress gained fame during the latter part of the 70s and early 80s through her roles on a variety of TV shows in which she was seen as an attractive actress. Fairchild started her career on The CBS Daytime soap drama Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. She appeared as Jenna Wade in 1978, the first time an actress had done so. In 1980 she took the lead in Flamingo Road (NBC), where she received a Golden Globe Award nomination for the top Actress - Television Series Drama. Fairchild co-starred alongside ABC on the soap Paper Dolls from 1984. In addition, she played Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest from 1985 until 1986. Fairchild has also performed in theater and played guest roles in TV comedies, such as Murphy Brown (for which she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest actor in a Comedy Series) Roseanne Cybill and Friends. She is a member of SAG-AFTRA.
