Lucy Liu (born Lucy Liu) is an American actor, voice actress, director producer and vocalist. She is an attractive, intelligent actress who inspires many Asian actors to succeed in Hollywood. After a series of initial appearances on popular TV shows, her fame was boosted when she joined the team of the legal comedy show Ally McBeal where she played the malicious Ling Woo. The new fame she gained was translated into roles that were filmed on the large screen with Shanghai Noon, Charlie's Angels as well as other movies. In Kill Bill Volume 1, Quentin Tarantino, she gave a stunning performance as Japanese crime boss O-Ren Ishii. In the same time frame she was the main character in a few flops on the box-office such as Rise: Blood Hunter. Then, she was able to play characters that were prominent in animation films such as Kung Fu Panda. The small screen role of Mia Mason in Cashmere Mafia did not yield outcomes.
